Our Story
Part of what makes Huapangos Mexican Cuisine feel so much like home is its deep rooted family history.
In 2009, husband and wife team, Viri and JT, decided to embark on a passion-fueled journey to what is now Huapangos Mexican Cuisine.
They drew inspiration from Viri’s mother’s cooking, from which Viri discovered exotic foods and spices. Family meals were influenced by cuisine from regions all over Mexico, and now so to is the menu of Huapangos.
The soul of JT and Viri’s family is infused not just into the Huapangos menu but also into the very bones of the restaurant. Everything from the beautiful mosaic tiles to the hand painted stones was put into place by JT himself.
